Tina always knew that she wanted a career helping children which led her into the field of social work over twenty years ago.   Tina completed her Bachelor of Social Work at York University and received her Masters of Social Work from the University of Toronto.  Upon graduation, Tina accepted a position at BOOST Child and Youth Advocacy Centre (formerly the Metropolitan Special Committee on Child Abuse) where she supported children and youth who had experienced sexual abuse.  From 2005 to 2012, Tina worked at the Ministry of Children and Youth Services (MCYS) in the Sexual Abuse Family Education & Treatment (SAFE-T) Program.  During her tenure with MCYS, Tina worked as a Clinical Therapist and as Manager of Assessment, Consultation and Training.  In each of her roles, Tina focused on providing support and consultation to children, youth and families impacted by sexual abuse. In 2013, Tina assumed the role of Program Director for the SAFE-T Program, at Radius Child and Youth Services.  Due to an ever growing interest in program evaluation and ultimately ensuring that the services that are provided result in positive outcomes for children, youth and families Tina moved into the position of Manager of Organizational Effectiveness and Quality Assurance.   In this role, Tina will focus on ensuring that our services and programs are delivered in the most effective way possible to meet the needs of our clients, their families and also the communities that we live in.
