Every year, Radius Child and Youth Services is the grateful recipient of a number of fundraising events held by amazing individuals and organizations. Every dollar raised through these events helps to ensure that Radius can continue to provide intake, assessment and counselling, run group therapy, and conduct cutting edge research and training.

Hosting a third party fundraiser or event raises valuable funds for programs and services, sparks a conversation about child abuse and inspires others to get involved.
Interested in hosting an event in support of Radius Child and Youth Services? We’d love to hear your ideas! Please contact Margaret McConnnell at mmcconnell@radiuschild-youthservices.ca to get started and discuss how you can make a difference in the lives of local children and youth.
Radius Child and Youth Services can provide the following support for events:
- Use of Radius “In Support of” Logo (ALL print and online uses of our name and logo must be approved by a Radius representative prior to publication)
- Use of Canada Helps – Raise Funds for Radius online tool for collecting pledges
- Provide Radius materials for the event (donation cards, postcards, brochures)
- Post event details on Radius’ social media networks and website
- Provide an endorsement letter for potential sponsors and donors and potential for a Radius representative to attend the event (Best efforts will be made based on availability and timing)
- Charitable tax receipts according to the CRA regulations (full names and email addresses required)
Radius Child and Youth Services cannot provide the following support for events:
- Volunteers or solicit sponsor revenue (including prizes, auction and gift bag items)
- Access to Radius’ database, sponsors or supporters
- Sell tickets to the event, guarantee attendance or reimburse/fund any event costs
- Obtain any necessary licenses or insurance, or assume any legal or financial liability associated with the event.
